LickiMat OH Bowl For Cats Has Bristles At The Base To Help Clean Your Pets Tongue As They Lick The Bowl Clean
This bowl for cats has been designed to assist in caring for the oral health of your pet
The bottom of the bowl has a mat with very fine, flexible rubber bristles, that gently rasp the surface of the cat’s tongue as they lick the bottom of the bowl after a meal. This rasping action helps to remove debris - left over food and loose hair (from grooming) - from the tongue.
- Keeping the tongue as clean as possible can help support the reduction of bacteria in your pet's mouth – this bacteria can contribute to poor oral health and bad breath.
- Removing loose hair from the tongue, can help reduce the quantity of hair that could be swallowed and then contribute to the development of hairballs.
You can smear the bottom of the bowl with tasty paste, wet or raw food, before placing your cat’s meal in the bowl, on top of the mat. When your cat completes the meal and gets to the bottom of the bowl, they will be able to clean their tongue while they lick the treat off the mat
The bowl is also designed to be lower and wider at the front so that:
- the sides of the bowl provide space for your cat’s sensitive whiskers while they eat
- your cat is in a crouched posture while they eat, which is a more natural, comfortable, and healthy feeding position

Cleaning Instructions
- Rinse and wash the mat once your cat has finished licking up all their food/treats – do not leave the mat with old/dried food and treats attached to the surface
- Soak and hand wash in warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher
